I have an XFX RX 460.

XFX Radeon RX 460 True OC RX-460P4SFG5 4GB 128-Bit GDDR5) Nearly all specs are identical to the RX 560 linked here: Is this the best option for upgrading my BIOS I saw mention of many people having to reduce clock speeds in their updated-to-560 cards to avoid graphic artifacts.

Since all of the clock speeds match, I assume I wont have this issue.

Is that enough to give me a moderate performance boost Or should I be looking for a similar card with slightly higher clock rates than my original.

It worked as far as the card properly registered and installed drivers as an RX 560, but the shaders and TMUs were unchanged, and all other specs remained the same.

I tried a second BIOS, which has slightly higher clocks, but upon reboot I only got Standard VGA Controller.

I should note that my card is a single fan, so I am restricting my searchtesting to single fan cards.

Also of note, the first BIOS test gave me the same BIOS version as my stock ROM 015.050.002.001.000000.

The second test is an older BIOS 015.050.000.001.000000, so perhaps thats why it wouldnt show up properly in Windows I have a few other to test out.

Its listed as XFX, XFX Radeon RX 560 4GB, Radeon RX 560 Series, (1295 1500) The Memory clock is the same, the GPU clock is slightly higher than my original (1295 vs 1193).

Using GPU-Z, the shaders and TMUs have been increased from 896 to 1024 and 56 to 64 respectively.

Pixel fill rate doubled, and texture fill rate increased by about 20.

I tested Bully: Scholarship Edition, and my frame rate has increased at 1080p, full shadows and 2xAA I was getting an average of 26.7 FPS (according to the Radeon software game list) and now it is at 29.7.

Dolphin WiiGameCube emulator seems to have a huge benefit with the game I tested, Eternal Darkness.

My computer has always had slowdown issues when there is a lot of fog being rendered.

I played the game several days ago and the foggy areas in the first part of the game were running at about 75-80 of full speed.

If not, I may eventually test some with higher memory clock rates.
